About the Girl on the Go blog

Girl on the Go highlights one thing about Atlanta each week – a restaurant, play, event, hotel or maybe even a new shop.

Although I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the world, I’ve only called one city home  - Atlanta. I’ve been a writer/editor here for more than 20 years and now work for Travelgirl magazine, where I get to write about everything from festivals in Barbados to cherry orchards in Wisconsin.

My blog started as all things travel, which is why you can still read about other cities. But now I’ve moved my travel writing to the Travelgirl blog, so come visit me there too.

But Atlanta is my home, and I always find plenty of fun things to do here. Come visit me every week to find out where you should be if you’re here.
