After a cocktail party last night, where there was NO FOOD, my sensitive husband sensed the inevitable grumpiness on the part of his wife, who does not like to miss meals, and offered to take me to lunch today. (Yes, I ate in between but the state of food deprivation lingers in my memory.)
His choice was Steel, where he had had a wonderful lunch recently and came away raving about the bento boxes. We walked through the rain curtain near the entrance and into this beautiful little gem of a restaurant.
The Indochine cuisine includes soups and salads, rice bowls, noodle bowls and reguar entrees. But we were here for the bento box. There are eight choices, all for $15 and include crab cakes, sushi combo, tempura scallops and soft shell crabs. But the one he’s been raving about is the Chilean sea bass so we both ordered the same one. Read the full post »
