My Magic+ at Disney

My Magic+Hotel keys, theme park tickets, cash and credit cards to buy treats and souvenirs  in the theme parks. It’s a lot to keep up with and as a mom, I’m usually the one doing the keeping up. So I was excited to hear about the introduction of My Magic+ system that Disney will be introducing in the next few months. Colorful wireless-transmitting wristbands will serve as the park passes, room key and can be linked to a credit card. You will even be able to book ride times for attractions and shows in advance.

The wristbands also allow Disney to collect information on guests such as their ages, buying patterns and location data. Mascots could use the information to greet children by name, but parents do have the option not to share information on their children and can control privacy features at the website at “My Disney Experience.”

“Gosh, these wristbands sure are swell,” as Mickey Mouse might see. I’m with you on this one, Mickey.
